It’s not looking good for the Jazz. George Hill is listed as questionable for this game, according to the Desert News NBA Final 2017 Live Stream, as the 31-year-old point guard has missed the past two games with left big toe soreness. Even when he was on the court, the Jazz has been demolished by the Dubs, who have won each of the previous 3 games by about 10 points.
“Basically the [team is] where we were yesterday as far as trying to see where he’s at,” coach Quin Snyder, 50, said, “and we’ll go from there tomorrow.” With George out, Shelvin Mack, 27, has stepped up. “He [has been] a bulldog offensively. He was fearless,” Coach Snyder said. “You’re not always going to make the right play. I’ve had confidence in Shelvin for a long time, and that hasn’t wavered.” While it’s all drama and nail-biting for the Jazz, the Warriors are having a grand ol’ time with this playoff. NBA Final 2017 Live Kevin Durant, 28, and Utah’s Rudy Gobert, 24, had a tense moment during Game 3 when the two shoved each other. KD got slapped with a flagrant 1 foul but he didn’t seem too bothered in the post-game press conference. Both he and Steph were shocked after hearing a reporter call the shoving match a “kerfuffle.” “That is a word right there,” Steph said, after hearing “Kerfuffle,” according to CBS Sports. Kevin and Steph seemed more amused by the word than any possible threat from the Jazz. Considering they’re 3–0, is it any surprise? The Golden State Warriors will attempt to finish a 4–0 series sweep of the Utah Jazz when the teams clash in Game 4 of their Western Conference semi-finals series on Monday. Jazz will rely on their home fans at the Vivint Smart Home Arena to push the series to a Game 5 back in Oakland. On Saturday, the Jazz competed with the Warriors through the first three quarters until Kevin Durant turned up the heat in the final quarter as Golden State closed out the home team with a 102–91 victory. The Jazz have played Games 2 and 3 without George Hill, who is nursing a toe injury. The veteran point guard is expected to return to the court on Monday despite Jazz coach Quin Snyder’s confidence in Shelvin Mack. During Saturday’s Game 3, Mack played lockdown defense for 37 minutes and finished with 11 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. The series has gone according to script so far. The Warriors have too much ammunition for a Jazz team that’s heavily reliant on All-Star wing Gordon Hayward and centre Rudy Gobert. Rodney Hood, the team’s sixth man, hasn’t stepped up to the plate, averaging less than eight points per game through the first three games. NBA Final Live Power Forward Derrick Favors has also hit a funk, barely getting off the bench after a decent first-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers. Gobert, who signed a long-term extension with the Jazz last summer, feels his team failed to generate any offensive rhythm in Saturday’s fourth quarter when Golden State out-scored them 30–21. “I think the problem we had was we stopped moving the ball. We started having some tougher shots, and they got going in transition. Steph got going and KD got going. They’re very tough to guard,” said Gobert, via ESPN. Mike Brown, standing in for Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, feels his team is peaking at the right time en route to a possible third consecutive appearance in the NBA Finals. “Give our guys credit. They stayed poised. They could have caved at any time, especially in the third when Utah went on a run. But they just stayed with it. There was no panic involved or anything like that, especially during timeouts in the huddle.” 2017 NBA Playoffs live streaming and Warriors vs Jazz live streaming info follows.
